CCDS is a high quality and highly successful public school. We are known as an exemplary charter school with a unique curricular design, rigorous standards and a safe, nurturing environment that educates the whole child. Our community expects our students to be high achievers and good citizens. With support from parents and community members, we are on the leading edge of educational reform.
With financial support from parents, our Board of Directors, our staff, friends, community members and foundations, we have met and exceeded our goals. To maintain our status as one of the best public schools in the North State, we must continue to supplement our programs.
This year more than ever, we need your help & support!
The State of California funds approximately 90% of the Chico Country Day School budget. The programs that make CCDS special are not provided for by our great state, and with the budget cuts that are so severe, continuing to provide our enrichment programs is even more difficult. These enrichment programs include art and music for all grade levels, strings for fourth graders, beginning and advanced band for 5th and 6th graders, our Outdoor Classroom & Environmental Science program, our Library, and lower than average class sizes, as well as our facility. Additionally, our staff is highly trained and qualified, with professional development and mentoring a high priority. Our kind and courteous staff knows and cares for each student here at CCDS, creating a safe and secure environment for optimized learning.
Our goal for this year of fundraising is to raise at least $100,000, with 100% family participation, at any level that each family feels is appropriate. Please support our school by giving to the Annie B & the One For Education Campaign!

Our goal is to raise $15,000 dollars this year! We hope we can count on everyone's support to make this another amazing event. The Challenge gives our students a chance to enjoy a safe and healthy activity as a way to raise money for our school. The money we raise will go toward supporting the wonderful programs we have, art, music, the outdoor classroom, physical education and technology. To help you get sponsors, a letter is posted below - you can reach out to those long distance friends and relatives!

The CCDS One For Education Campaign
This is the fifth year of the CCDS One For Education Campaign and we are once again teaming up the the Annie B's Community Drive. The Annie B's One for Education Campaign is the major fundraiser of the year and will provide critical support for our operating budget to offset expenses that are not covered by state funding.
Annual Auction
Each year CCDS hosts an auction and dinner. This is a schoolwide event where each class designs and makes a project that is auctioned. Dinner, drinks and dancing are included in this "adult night out" fun event. Many local businesses generously donate items to bid on and win. This year's auction will take place on February 27, 2010!
eScrip
Visit www.escrip.com - sign up for eScrip and help raise money for our programs by just doing the shopping that you normally do. It's easy! Participating eScrip merchants contribute up to 10% of a debit or credit card purchase, even just purchasing groceries, back to CCDS. Participating merchants include Safeway, MasterCard, VISA, Macy's and American Express.
Raley's and Albertsons participate in their own programs. Raley's cards are available in the school office and Albertsons cards are available at your local store.
