Waiting lists for CCDS are regenerated every year. A parent or guardian must re-apply for the waiting list every year. Please read our Admissions Policy.
There is a lottery preference for families residing in the Barber Yard Neighborhood surrounding 102 West 11th Street. This is a neighborhood desigated by the City of Chico. Please download the map designating the Barber Yard Neighborhood.
Please download the 2012-2013 Application for Enrollment. This must be filled out completely and returned to the office by 4pm January 11, 2012 in order to be entered in the lottery on January 13.
All waiting list applications are lotteried. We encourage parents who are interested in obtaining a application to download it on the website or come to the office during normal business hours.
- Waiting List Lottery for grades 1-8*: Applications for Grades 1-8 for the 2012-2013 school year is now available. CCDS will hold a public lottery for the grades 1-8 waiting list in the Multi-Use Room on January 13, 2012 at 1:30pm. After the January lottery, waiting list applications may be turned in to the office and names will be added to the waiting list as they are received.
- Kindergarten Lottery 2012: Kindergarten Lottery Applications will now be accepted. The public lottery will be held on January 13 at 1:30pm in the Multi-Use Room. After the number of available spaces have been filled, we will continue to draw names, and these names will be placed on the waiting list. Kindergarten applications turned in after the lottery will be accepted and those names added to the waiting list as they are received.
- Attendance at the lottery on January 13, 2012 is welcome, but not mandatory.

The Waiting List Application for the 2011-2012 schoolyear is still available for your student to be placed on this year's (2011-2012) waiting list for all grade levels. Please fill out the application, and return to Bonnie Fitzgerald in the main office or via email, bfitzgerald@chicocountryday.org. Please note that our waiting list is renewed every year, and if your child is not admitted this year, you must fill out the 2012-2013 waiting list application that is now available, and enter the lottery.
