At the CCDS preschool, we have created a learning environment based on the philosophy that preschool is a crucial stepping stone in helping children become literate, cultured, life-long learners who strive for academic excellence. The purpose of the preschool, through a united school, parent and community effort, is to emphasize self-confidence, compassion, appreciation, and respect for the natural world. The CCDS preschool uses the Integrated Thematic Instruction method within the program, interweaving and connecting grammar, science, pre-reading and pre-math that allows the children to play and experience while learning.
