Homework reinforces what is learned at school and instills good work habits. Assignments are generally begun in class, which means students should always know the directions of their assignments when working on them at home.
Students should have nightly math homework, Monday through Thursday. Science homework is typically given 1-3 nights per week.
Our class rarely has homework on weekends, so that students have time to spend with family and friends.
If you feel that your child is spending too much or too little time on their assignments, please let me know so I can work with your child toward a solution. Please work with your child to stay on top of long-term projects.
