Corina Boone

Hello CCDS! My name is Corina Boone, and I am so excited to be joining the 2nd grade team this year at Chico Country Day! For the past few years, I have been teaching in Raleigh, North Carolina, but I just moved back to Chico this summer and am thrilled to be back home!

After earning my degree in Liberal Studies from California State University, Chico, I have spent the last ten years teaching everything from TK through 3rd grade! Throughout it all, I have learned that nothing brings me joy like teaching students the foundational skills that they need to become confident, independent, successful individuals in the future!

Outside of the classroom, I love spending quality time with my family and friends, traveling to new places, and whipping up sweet treats in the kitchen! I am also a huge fan of all things Disney! I am so looking forward to meeting all of my new students and their families this year! We are going to have an amazing, fun-filled time together!
