Chico Country Day School

We believe students should have a voice in their own learning.

We believe that everyone is a learner.

We believe in preparing students to meet the world they will enter as adults.

Welcome to Chico Country Day School!

We are a K-8 Charter School with a commitment to Student Centered Learning and to developing both academic strength and strength of character in our students. We also believe that the family is the child’s first and most important teacher, and we look forward to working, learning and teaching with you.

At CCDS our primary purpose is to educate our students toward becoming engaged and thriving learners.

Through a united school, parent and community effort, CCDS emphasizes social consciousness, personal responsibility, self-confidence and compassion, and appreciation and respect for the natural world.

We recognize we are preparing our kids for jobs that may not even exist yet, so creativity, problem solving, and critical thinking are essential to their future success.

We welcome you to browse our site, learn about who we are as a school, and consider applying to attend.

NOTICE:

The Butte County Superintendent of Schools has declared that all Butte County Schools will resume on December 3, 2018. The task of cleaning all school sites, enrolling newly displaced students and preparing for all students in the county to return to school from a disaster of this magnitude is a monumental task. This date may change based on environmental conditions or direction from BCOE.

We currently have room to enroll 7th and 8th grade students in the middle school. Next week our offices will be open from 8-11 a.m. on Monday and Tuesday.

Main Office:  Stacy Ferguson - 895-2650 ext. 20

Our thoughts are with our community and all of the families that have been impacted by this tragedy.
