I’m excited to join Chico Country Day School as the new After School Program Coordinator! I’ve lived in Chico most of my life, with the exception of 10 years in San Francisco, where I earned my BFA in Fashion Design through a joint program at California College of the Arts and the University of San Francisco. For the past 13 years, I’ve taught fiber arts at a local charter school, combining creativity with hands-on learning.

Outside of the classroom, I’ve run my own jewelry business for 20 years, volunteered extensively with Safe Space to support unhoused individuals and their pets, and currently serve on the board of Golden State Linen, a nonprofit dedicated to reviving California’s linen industry in an environmentally and socially responsible way. I’ve also hosted inclusive clothing swaps in Chico for more than a decade to promote sustainability, reduce waste, and build community.

I look forward to getting to know the CCDS community and to continuing to provide inclusive, engaging, and supportive care in the After School Program.

Hello CCDS Families! I was born and raised in Fair Oaks, California, and moved to Chico in 2017 and later received my bachelor's degree in Child Development from Chico State in 2021.

My journey at Chico Country Day began as an ASP aide in 2019, and then a few years later, in 2021, I was promoted to ASP Assistant Coordinator.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, doing puzzles, and singing at the top of my lungs. A few of my favorite things are my fifteen-year-old cat, the color pink, and frogs. A fun fact about me is that I was born on Christmas Eve.
