Grace Flynn

Hi! I’m originally from Santa Cruz, California, and I earned both my undergraduate degree and my Multiple Subject Credential from CSU, Chico. I just got married this summer, so you might know me as Miss Taylor—but I’m now Mrs. Flynn! I’m now in my fifth year of teaching, and I feel so lucky to be part of the Chico Country Day community. Kindergarten is such a magical year, and I love creating a classroom where students feel safe, curious, and excited to learn.

Teaching young children has only deepened my love for education—their creativity, questions, and joy make every day meaningful and fun. I believe in building a strong classroom community where every child feels seen, valued, and empowered to grow.

Outside of school, I love walking, reading, and spending time with loved ones. A few of my favorite things are giraffes, lattes, dancing, and the color yellow! I can’t wait to meet you and your child—it’s going to be a fantastic year!
